Description

The buildings at 8 and 8A Mill Street date to the late 16th century. They are constructed of roughcast and have two storeys plus an attic. The front features three modern three-light casement windows, each with a channeled keyblock and formerly with aprons. A restored moulded wooden doorcase, originally incorporating a fanlight and moulded lintel, is present. Quoins are visible, and the building has moulded stone eaves. There are three modern box dormers on the roof, which is tiled. Modern shop fronts have been introduced.
