Description

Laneside and the Beaches is a range of cottages that dates back to the 17th century or earlier. The cottages are timber framed and faced in red brick from the 18th or 19th century. They feature a steeply pitched tiled roof with gabled ends and are one storey high with an attic, comprising a three-window range. There are four gabled dormers at the eaves level. The Beaches has old casement windows with glazing bars, while Laneside has modern windows. The building includes ridge and end stacks, and there are 19th-century gabled brick wings at the rear.
