Description

The Church of All Hallows, located in Ercall Magna, was enlarged in 1881, although little of the original medieval structure remains. The church features a wide nave constructed of sandstone, topped with a tiled gable-ended roof. A small bellcote, which is corbelled out over the west gable, has a short stone spire. Below the bellcote, there is a triangular window and a porch that dates to 1882. The north and south nave windows are plain pointed arch Gothic style, and there is a buttress with set-offs on the south side. The east wall of the nave and the short chancel are made of brick and also date from 1881. The interior is simple, furnished in a Victorian style.
