Description

NUMBER 9, ROWTON is probably a 17th-century timber-framed cottage, now with a cement-rendered exterior. It has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends. The cottage is one storey and attic in height, with a two-window range. It features small metal frame casement windows, and a gabled dormer on the east side. A brick end stack is visible. The interior retains stopped chamfer ceiling beams with run-out stops.
