Description

Bleak House is a small red brick house from the early 19th century. It features a tiled roof with stone-coped gabled ends and kneelers, along with a brick dentil eaves course. The house has two storeys and a two-window range, with sash windows that include glazing bars and plain lintels. The central doorcase is plain and has glazed double doors. There are brick stacks at the ends of the house. An insurance plaque is located on the end wall. At the rear, there is a wing of earlier origin, likely from the 18th century, which has been encased in red brick and features a lath gabled end facing the road.
