Description
The Kings Head Public House is an early 19th-century building constructed of painted brick. It features a new concrete tile roof with brick parapet gable ends, while the right-hand end retains plain tiles. The building is two storeys high and has a lounge with a widely spaced three-window range. On the first floor, there are early 19th-century casements, with two three-light windows on the left and one single-light casement on the right. The ground floor includes two small early 19th-century bow windows that have glazing bars, pilasters, and entablatures. In the center, there is a doorcase flanked by fluted pilasters and topped with an entablature. To the right, there are round-headed and segmental-headed doorways, which likely served a section used for malting and brewing, and there is also a first-floor doorway in the gable end.
