Description

These buildings, at numbers 91 and 91A High Street, likely originated in the late 16th or early 17th century. The front facade is a modern construction of red brick, two storeys high with an attic, but it hides a timber-framed core. A short wing projects from the rear, displaying an exposed timber frame with red brick infill, as does a section of the rear wall. The interior has been largely altered; however, some original ceiling beams and timber framing are still visible.
