Description
London House is a mid-18th century building with a core dating back to the mid-17th century, located on the west side of High Street. The structure has three storeys and features four sash windows without glazing bars, which are adorned with moulded keyblocks and plain lintels. The building has quoins at the sides and a lead rainwater head that is dated 1740. A moulded plaster eaves cornice and stone-coped gabled ends are also present, with a tiled roof. The shop front, which dates from the late 19th century, includes modern glazing and fluted granite pilasters. The interior has undergone significant alterations.
