Description

The chest tombs of the Smith family are located in St Peter's Churchyard, approximately 5 meters south of the church. These tombs date from 1798 to 1866 and are made of stone. They commemorate members of the Smith family from Penkhull. Each tomb is raised on a now broken plinth and features angle pilasters resembling balusters, along with inscribed panels that have moulded frames.
