Description
The cross fragment in St Peter's Churchyard is a stone relic from the Anglo-Saxon period. It was identified by Charles Lynam and re-erected by him in the mid-19th century. The base and surrounding railings are also from the mid-19th century. The shaft of the cross stands approximately 4 feet high and features intricate interlace and key patterns.
