Description

The entrance gates to Longton Cemetery, dated 1868, are made of cast iron. They feature main double entrance gates and side foot gates, both adorned with traceried panels and emblems displaying the Longton Arms. The gates are supported by hollow cast-iron piers, which have turretted caps, although one of the caps is missing.
