Description
Pot Bank is a small pottery factory built in the late 19th century or early 20th century, featuring a small courtyard plan. The building is constructed of brick and has a tiled roof. Its front elevation consists of three storeys and eight bays, which are divided by pilasters. The paired sash-type windows have segmentally-arched heads. There is a cast-iron lintel above an archway that leads to the rear of the property, located towards the right side of the elevation. In the yard at the back of the building, there is a kiln that adjoins the rear of the main range. This kiln is an experimental four-chamber muffle kiln with a circular hovel on a square base, built around 1910 by Royal Doulton Ltd.
