Description
No. 342 on Cobridge Road is a house that was formerly an inn, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It features lined-out stucco over brick and has a plain tiled roof. The building is two stories high and has a three-unit plan, with one unit located to the right of the entrance. The entrance is highlighted by a pedimented doorcase. The windows are three-light designs with mullions and transoms, set within stressed architraves. Notable architectural details include quoins, a plain eaves band, and gable end stacks. A large projecting wrought-iron bracket indicates where the former inn sign was displayed. At the rear, there is a parallel range.
