Description

The former stable block to the east of Henley Hall is a late 18th-century building that has been converted into three flats. It is constructed of brick with a brick plinth and features plain-tile hipped roofs with deep eaves and brick ridge stacks. An open cupola with arched octagonal arcading sits atop the structure.

The exterior is two storeys high, with a prominent central bay that includes a carriage entry. This entry features a doorway with an arched head and an ashlar keyblock, a springing cornice, and a plinth, all set within an arched recess. Each spandrel contains a leaded-light roundel, and the entire bay is topped with a stone-coped pedimented gable, which has a brick cornice and projecting storey bands. A large clock face is set into the pediment.

On either side of the central bay, there are flanking wings, each with a pair of three-light casements featuring segmental arches on both floors. The lower pair on the right is transomed, while the left is brick-blocked. There is also a 19th-century single-storey and attic wing on the right side.

The left return side has a stucco wall with a first-floor string course and a leaded-light mullion and transom window above. The rear features a central porte cochere flanked by a two-storey, three-window range on each side. These have 2/2 sash windows with a cross-window roundel at the first floor and 4/4 sashes at the ground floor, all with flat stone lintels. A central raised stone-coped gable penetrates the eaves, featuring a 2/2 sash window in the attic and a clock face above. There is also a 19th-century wing on the left side. The interior has not been inspected.
