14/74 Wall and gate piers - approx. 6 metres to north of The Old Manor House

GV II

Wall and gate piers. Mid-C18. Dressed grey sandstone walls. L-plan, enclosing small service courtyard to north of The Old Manor House (q.v.). Approximately one metre high with chamfered coping. The northern section of wall has been reduced in height at some time but the coping has been retained. Pair of grey sandstone ashlar square gate piers to north- west. Each with moulded plinth, tall raised and fielded panels, and moulded cornice. Boarded gate.
