Description

The wall and gate piers, located approximately 6 metres north of The Old Manor House, date from the mid-18th century. They are constructed of dressed grey sandstone and form an L-plan that encloses a small service courtyard to the north of the manor. The wall stands about one metre high and features chamfered coping. The northern section of the wall has been lowered at some point, but the coping remains intact. To the northwest, there is a pair of square gate piers made of grey sandstone ashlar. Each pier has a moulded plinth, tall raised and fielded panels, and a moulded cornice, along with a boarded gate.
