Description
Broncroft Castle is a mid-19th century house that incorporates a core from the 14th century. It is constructed from sandstone rubble and features plain tile roofs along with various ornamental brick and stone chimney stacks. The building has an irregular plan and stands two storeys high, with several attics, towers, and wings. The exterior displays irregular fenestration, including cross-windows and lancets with leaded lights, as well as traceried windows on the east front. The main entrance is located on the southwest side, featuring a 19th-century plank door set beneath a pointed arch, with a tower to the right that is partly from the 14th century. The interior has not been inspected. Additionally, there is a subsidiary feature: a rubble wall approximately 2 meters high that extends for about 30 meters.
