Description
Wynetts Bank Cottage, including the attached outbuilding, is a house dating from the early 19th century, with an earlier core. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a hand-cut graduated Welsh slate roof. The left end has a part-rendered brick stack, while there is a brick chimney at the rear.
The cottage is two storeys tall and has a two-window range. It features 2-light metal casements that break the eaves, with raking dormers above. The central entrance has a plank door that is sheltered by a simple sheet-metal hood. This entrance is flanked by similar casements and, to the right, there is a fixed leaded light.
The attached outbuilding to the right is built of rubble with a plain tile roof and a weatherboarded gable, featuring a 20th-century plank door. At the rear of the cottage, there is a later lean-to that includes a 2-light casement. The interior is believed to contain timber-framing.
