Description

St Milburga's Well is located in Much Wenlock and dates back to ancient times. It features a stone well-head or opening that has a medieval moulding. Above the well, there is a restored rubble wall that includes an inscribed panel. Originally, there was a late Victorian gabled well-house made of stone that accompanied the well.
