Farmhouse and attached outbuilding. C14 or C15 with late C16 or C17 and mid-to-late C19 alterations and additions. Timber framed, of cruck construction; partly rebuilt and extended in coursed rubble and coursed and squared limestone, rendered in parts; slate roof. Possible former hallhouse of 2 or 3 framed bays with later additions. One storey and attic and 2 storeys. Asymmetrically gabled front with lateral brick stack to left and 2 brick ridge stacks to right. 2 large projecting gabled wings to left with mid- to-late Cl9 three-light wooden casements; rendered timber framed gabled 2-storey porch in front of left-hand gabled wing with brackets supporting jettied gable-end, first floor 3-light C19 wooden casement and ground floor half-glazed door with flanking C20 glazing; half- glazed door set back inside porch. Low range set back to right; gabled eaves-dormer to left with 2-light casement, and ground floor segmental-headed 2-light wooden casement and 2-leaf boarded door to left; stable to right with 2 glazing bar sashes flanking central door. Interior: 3 full cruck trusses partly visible, possible more concealed; chamfered beams with plain stops; large open fire- place with chamfered lintel.
