Description
The Wollaston tomb, located approximately 7 metres to the west of the tower of the Church of St. John the Baptist, is a chest tomb dating from around 1800. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features shaped corner balusters, incised panels, pilasters, and chamfered corners on the capping. The tomb is dedicated to Thomas Wollaston.
