Description

Willey Furnace Cottages are a pair of modest dwellings built in the late 18th century. These cottages were formerly workmen's homes linked to John Wilkinson's New Willey Ironworks, which was located nearby. They are constructed of red brick and feature one storey, a basement, and an attic. The cottages have plain early 19th century casement windows and two simple doorways, along with two gabled dormers and modern tiles on the roof. Inside, the cottages retain plain ceiling beams. Both cottages are currently occupied as a single residence.
