Description

This chest tomb is dedicated to Joseph Nock, who died in 1791, and is located about 6 meters south of the Church of St. Chad. It is made of sandstone and features a large structure set on a moulded plinth. Each of the long sides has two slightly recessed oval panels, with one panel displaying the inscription. The tomb is adorned with six turned baluster shafts that have fluted capitals, and it is topped with a plain corniced lid.
