Description

Nos 34 to 36 on High Street in Bridgnorth are a pair of buildings dating from around 1650. They feature a timber frame and plaster exterior. The windows are mostly modern, including a wooden bay window and casements, but there are original carved figures on the pilaster consoles. The right-hand wing has an upper storey that overhangs, showcasing exposed timber soffits. There is an enriched rainwater head and four dormers across the roof, which is covered in old tiles. The shop fronts have been modernized, but the buildings remain in good condition and contribute to a picturesque range. Nos 23 to 37 on High Street form a group.
