Description

No. 33 High Street is an early 18th-century building constructed of painted brick. It stands three storeys tall and features two modern sash windows set in arched frames. The facade includes a brick band, a rainwater head, and a wooden modillion eaves cornice. There is a box dormer on the roof, which is covered with tiles. On the returned side facing St Mary's Street, there is a 19th-century moulded wooden doorcase. The building also retains some old wooden mullioned and transomed windows. Nos. 23 to 37 High Street, which are consecutive, form a group.
