Description

This is a headstone commemorating Joseph Mantle, located 4 metres east of the chancel of the Church of All Saints. It dates from the early to mid-18th century and is made of ashlar. The headstone features a rectangular slab set horizontally, with a twin inscription and raised foliate ornament at the top. It has a double raised curved upper edge and commemorates Joseph Mantle, who died in 1741, and his wife.
