Description

The Brown Memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 29 metres to the west of the north aisle of the Church of St George. It dates from the mid-19th century and is made of sandstone ashlar. The tomb features a chamfered base, sunken panels with shallow incised borders, reeded corner piers, and a chamfered top. It commemorates Elizabeth and Ann Brown, who both died in 1857.
