Description

Cherry Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the early to mid-18th century, with some later additions and alterations. It has a timber frame that is now covered in roughcast, and it features a plain tile roof. The cottage has a single cell plan and is one storey high with an attic. On the right side, there is a late 19th-century casement window next to a 20th-century ledged door, and above this is a gabled eaves dormer. To the right, there is a prominent integral end stack, which has a mid-19th-century lean-to structure attached to it. The exterior also shows exposed wall-plate and purlin ends.
