Description

BUILDWAS C.P. WENLOCK ROAD SJ 60 SW (west side) 5/22 Remains of wall approx. 175m south-west of west end of Buildwas Abbey II Wall, remains of. Indeterminate but probably medieval date. Fragmentary remains of limestone rubble wall, approximately 20m long and a maximum of 1.5m high. Probably formed part of precinct wall to Buildwas Abbey (q.v.).
