Stable Block Approximately 15 Metres North West Of Brogyntyn Hall

The stable block, located approximately 15 meters north-west of Brogyntyn Hall, dates from the early 19th century and has undergone later additions and alterations. It is constructed of red brick, with the main facade stuccoed and the left range rendered. The building features slate roofs, hipped at the rear. It has a square plan surrounding a central paved courtyard and consists of two storeys.

The entrance front showcases a central round-headed arch with a carved keystone and moulded imposts extending to the soffit, flanked by blind roundels. A clock is set into the pediment, and there is an open octagonal wooden cupola on the ridge topped with a domed bronze cap and weathervane. The front and rear of the arch have spur stones, with plain pilasters on the flanking wings.

The rear range includes eight irregularly spaced segmental-headed four-paned sash windows on the first floor, while the ground floor features sash windows alternating with boarded doors, each with segmental-headed overlights. Two bays on the right appear to be a later addition, and there is a toothed eaves cornice. The left range has similar openings, with a bell situated under a gabled canopy between the first and second windows from the left. It also has an external end stack to the left and coped verges on carved stone kneelers, along with a toothed eaves cornice.

The right range, which was formerly a coach house, has four segmental-headed arches, three of which on the left are cut through by a late 19th or early 20th-century continuous chamfered lintel, with boarded double doors for each opening. Inside, the front range contains 19th-century loose boxes with cast-iron grilles.
