Description
Pentre-pant is a house built around 1840, with later additions made in 1895. The front and sides are made of brick, while the rear is constructed from uncoursed limestone rubble, all covered in pebbledash. The roof is low-pitched and hipped, finished with slate and partly hidden by a parapet. At the rear, there are engineering red brick stacks where the original structure meets the late 19th-century additions. The house has two storeys and features a stone moulded eaves cornice. The front has five windows with horned glazing bar sashes. The central entrance is framed by a pedimented stone Tuscan doorcase, which includes the original half-glazed double doors. Although the interior could not be inspected during the last survey in April 1986, it was noted to have panelled shutters on the ground-floor windows. The 1895 additions are not considered to have special architectural interest.
