SJ 32 NW OSWESTRY RURAL C.P. ASTON PARK 6/174 Pedestal tomb approx. - 20m south of domestic chapel at Aston Hall GV II

Pedestal tomb. 1785. Sandstone ashlar. Square section with moulded plinth and capping, cavetto-moulded finial. Inscription on north side records erection of monument in 1785 to the sisters Elizabeth Lloyd (died 1775) and Ann Sneyd (died 1784). Further later inscriptions to members of Lloyd family on other 3 sides.
