Description

This chest tomb, located approximately 5 metres south of the tower of the Church of St Mary the Virgin, was constructed in 1826. It is made of limestone ashlar and features a raised, vermiculated plinth. The top of the tomb has a panelled sarcophagus that slopes outward and has a moulded edge. The inscription reads "MARY/WIFE OF GEORGE LLOYD/1826."
