Description
This building is a cartshed and granary that dates from the mid-19th century and is located next to the remains of Lea Castle to the north. It is constructed from limestone rubble with a weatherboarded timber-framed first floor and has a corrugated iron roof. The structure is two storeys high. On the first floor, there is a boarded loft door to the left, while the ground floor is open-fronted with a central post and an enclosed staircase on the right. The south wall of this building is included in the listing because it forms part of Lea Castle.
