Description

This memorial, located 16 metres south of the nave of the Church of St Andrew in Hope Bowdler, is a chest tomb made of ashlar stone, dating from the early 19th century. It features a flat lid with a moulded edge and has plain inscribed side and end panels. The corners are adorned with fluted piers, and it stands on a moulded plinth. The inscription is unfortunately illegible.
