Description

The former village pound in Harley is likely from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed from roughly coursed sandstone and local gritstone rubble. The structure is a rectangular walled enclosure measuring approximately 3 meters by 2.5 meters in length and stands about 1.5 meters high, although it is partly demolished on the west side.
