Farmhouse. Late C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed with painted brick infill and additions painted black and white in imitation of timber frame; slate roof. 3-unit baffle-entry plan. One storey and attic. Framing: rectangular panels, 3 from cill to wall-plate with short straight braces, rebuilt in brick and painted black and white in imitation to left and also to right of porch on ground floor. C19 casements, 2 to left and one to right of porch with one directly below eaves above left window; three C19 raking eaves dormers. Roughly central gabled brick porch with 6-panel door and semi-circular fanlight has prominent red brick ridge stack immediately to right with top rebuilt in C19 brick; integral end stacks to left and right. Interior. Inspection not possible at time of resurvey (February 1987) but likely to be of interest. C20 lean-to attached to right gable end continued round to form twin-gabled range to rear is not of special architectural interest.
