Description
The outbuildings and attached walls at the rear of Burlton Hall date from the late 19th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature slate roofs, some of which are graded. The complex includes dovecotes and various outbuildings whose functions are uncertain. The outbuilding closest to the house has chimney-like finials and a round-headed niche with a bell. Decorative elements on the buildings include lozenge and X-shapes, toothed and dentilled bands, and crow-step gables. There are 19th-century casements and doors, with a window on the east side of the nearest dovecote featuring a segmental head and a cross motif above. Red brick walls connect the outbuildings to Burlton Hall.
