Description
This barn, located approximately 30 meters northeast of Old Hall, dates from the late 17th century and has undergone some later alterations. It is constructed of red brick in a random bond pattern and features a slate roof. The barn has two levels and includes a toothed floor band. There are six openings on the ground floor, consisting of doorways and windows, all of which have segmental heads except for the first opening on the left. To the left of the center, there are two eaves hatches, and a wooden mullion window is situated at the far left on the first floor. The left gable end displays a queen-strut truss. Although a full inspection of the interior was not possible during the resurvey in February 1987, it was noted to have a double-purlin roof with a mixture of queen-strut trusses and brick dividing walls, as well as a continuous loft. The barn is included for its group value.
