Description
No. 136 Corve Street is a house from the early 18th century that has been refronted later, originally built with a timber frame. The structure is made of brick and features a 19th-century slate roof with a brick stack located at the right rear. It stands three stories tall with a cellar and has a three-window range. The windows on the front are 20th-century sashes, with the right window being double, all set under segmental arches. Above, there are two 20th-century casements in openings that correspond to a 19th-century roof raising. On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century six-panel door with a moulded architrave beneath a moulded pediment supported by pilasters, flanked by 20th-century sashes, with the right window being double, also under segmental arches. The rear wing features a box-framed gable with queen struts, under a roof that has been raised and extended to the right side.
