Description
The Manor House is a house that has been divided into two dwellings. It features an 18th-century front that likely covers an earlier structure. The building is constructed of brick and rubble, topped with a plain tile roof, and has two external rubble stacks with brick chimneys at the rear. The plan is cruciform.
The exterior is two storeys high, with an attic and cellar, and has irregular window arrangements that include 19th-century 3/3 and 5/5 sash windows, along with a storey band. There is a studded plank door set in a moulded frame. To the left, there is an advanced gabled wing and an additional range. The rear of the house features late 19th-century 2/2 and 3/3 sash windows, a roof dormer, and another advanced gabled wing. The interior has not been inspected, but it is likely to be of considerable interest.
