Description

A coach house and stable block dating from approximately 1800. The building is constructed of red brick with a hipped roof of old tiles. It is two storeys high and has a six-bay front with a blind arcade detail; a horizontal band sits above this arcade, and smaller recessed arches are set within the tympana above. The front features paired diagonally boarded doors in the two bays on the right, segmental-headed boarded double doors in the third bay from the right, a three-light segmental-headed window in the fourth bay from the right, and modern boarded garage doors in the two bays on the left. A loft window and a glazing bar sash window are located on the ground floor of the left-hand end. This was a former coach house and stable block belonging to the Manor House.
