Description

Broadgate Mews comprises a group of houses with an early 19th-century front, built around an 18th-century core. The main block consists of three storeys and a cellar, featuring a three-window front. The windows are predominantly 2/2 sash windows, some with grooved stucco lintels. There's a blocked opening and a smaller, later 19th-century 2/2 sash window on the right. A 20th-century central door and shop windows are also present. The right-hand return side is constructed of rubble with a brick flue.

A further range, likely number 75, is built of rubble and brick with an old plain tile roof and a brick corner stack. It features a rendered gable with a 2-light casement window beneath an oak lintel. The gable end of number 74 is of rubble with a brick end stack and a slate roof.

The courtyard front is roughcast, with 20th-century windows. Features include a leaded light with coloured glass in an oak case, a 2-light casement window under a brick segmental arch, a tall narrow light with a leaded casement, a plank door with a window, and a mullion light with a metal casement.
