Description

The garden wall adjoining Number 1 Lower Gardens to the east is a structure dating from around 1800. It is built of red brick and features stone coping, ramping up to the house. The wall is composed of two lengths that meet at right angles, running approximately east-west and north-south, with a total length of about 60 metres and a height of 3 metres. It includes battered buttresses and has a boarded door running from north to south. This wall is included for its group value.
