Description

No. 47 is a cottage built in the late 18th century and early 19th century. It features a rendered timber frame on the left side and rendered limestone rubble on the right, topped with a graded slate roof. The cottage consists of one framed bay with an end baffle entry to the left and a later addition on the right. It is 1½ storeys high and has three gabled eaves dormers, each with 2-light casements. There is a rendered ridge stack located above the door, which is off-centre to the left, and an integral end stack to the right with a brick top. The front has three windows, all with 2-light casements, alternating with two boarded doors.
