Description
The kitchen garden walls, built around 1783-1785, are located approximately 350 metres to the north-west of The Stable Block at Attingham Park. Constructed from red brick in monk bond, the walls feature sandstone coping and hinge blocks. The rectangular layout measures approximately 70 metres by 120 metres, with curved corners at the south-west and south-east and spurs extending from the north-west and north-east corners, which have square end piers. Each wall has a segmental-headed boarded door, approximately 4 metres high, located in the centre. The lower walls of a later smaller kitchen garden to the east are not included in this listing.
