Description
The north gates and gate piers to Attingham Park were built around 1805-1807. They consist of a pair of grey sandstone ashlar piers that have chamfered corners and pyramidal caps. The gates are made of wrought iron and feature spearhead railings, circular-patterned dog rails with spearheads, and low arrow-head dog rails. These gates and gate piers are similar to those at Tern Lodge and likely form part of the same landscaping scheme within Attingham Park.
