Description
These are two late 18th-century houses on Corve Street, Ludlow. They are constructed of painted brick on a rubble plinth, with a plain tile roof and brick stacks at the rear. The houses are two storeys high with a six-window front. The windows are largely 20th-century casements, although one window is an 18th or 19th century, eight-light design; all are set within brick segmental arches. A half-glazed door with overlight is located to the left centre, with a passageway to the right centre, also beneath a segmental arch. A storey band runs above the windows. The passageway reveals a rubble wall to the adjacent property at No.67, with evidence of a former doorway under an oak lintel. A rubble outshut is found at the rear of No.67, while a rubble wall runs along the rear of No.68. A 20th-century extension is also present.
