Description

The cottages at 7-9 Birch Road date from the early 17th century. They are a range of timber-frame cottages with painted brick and a slate roof. The cottages are one storey high with an attic, and feature four dormered casement windows that break through the eaves. Some of the windows contain early leaded lights. Alteration work was ongoing at the time of inspection in 1980.
