Description

The White Hart Public House dates to the early 17th century, with later alterations. It is a timber-frame building with plaster infilling. The building is two storeys high and features diagonal strutting to the upper storey, creating a slight overhang. A moulded bressummer runs along the upper storey, supported by enriched consoles. The front facade has three modern casement windows and one below a simple wood doorcase, containing a six-panelled door. The roof is covered in slates. The interior has been altered, but some original exposed timber framing and ceiling beams remain.
