Nos 1 and 3 Birch Road is a late 18th-century building with later alterations. It is constructed of painted brick and has two storeys and an attic. The façade features three casement windows with segmental heads and two plain doorways that have modern doors. The building has toothed eaves and a slate roof, along with three gabled dormers.
